Patients should also receive care from a facility that is accredited by the Joint Commission, the Council on Accreditation and Rehabilitation Facilities International. Furthermore, patients should look for addiction recovery centers with an excellent success rate. You can ask questions regarding the percentage of patients who remain drug-free long after completing treatment. In addition, patients should look for a facility that provides therapy sessions outside of group meetings. These therapy sessions allow the individual to have an in-depth conversation with a counselor about their recovery process and experiences after leaving the center.
